Nexus25 - Shaping Multilateralism is a project carried out by IAI in partnership with the Center for Climate and Security in Washington, a part of the Council on Strategic Risks and is funded by Stiftung Mercator. Nexus25 is currently in the second phase of the project, after the first part was carried out in collaboration by IAI and the United Nations Foundation.

Security Coordination and Programme Enhancement - SCOPE

SCOPE is a four-year project (2024-2028) that aims to support the European Commission in ensuring the coherence, coordination, and visibility of the Global Threats programme of the European Service for Foreign Policy Instruments, particularly in the areas of counter-terrorism, CBRN risks mitigation, combating organised crime, and countering climate security threats. Project activities include: production of analysis, coordination meetings, monitoring and evaluation activities, and events support.

Vigilant Maritime Surveillance of Critical Submarine Infrastructure - VIGIMARE

The project, which started in September 2024 and will last three years, is coordinated by Laurea University of Applied Sciences. VIGIMARE will provide an information-sharing platform for critical infrastructure operators to strengthen their resilience against physical, cyber, and hybrid threats to submarine critical infrastructure in the EU. The project will also support EU member states in meeting the requirements of the EU directives on the resilience of critical entities (CER – Critical Entities Resilience) and cybersecurity (NIS2 – Network and Information Security Directive 2).
