Internships & Jobs

IAI periodically solicits applications for curricular internships in the various areas of the institute’s activity.
An absolute prerequisite for doing an internship is an agreement (already stipulated or activated) between the University of origin (or other body) and the Istituto Affari Internazionali, or an Erasmus+ nomination.
The duration of traineeships is generally three months. Indicative frequency: January - April / April - June / September - December.
There is no compensation or reimbursement of expenses, unless otherwise specified.
Eligible are students of master's or second-level degree courses, or persons with master's degrees or doctorates from the Faculties of Economics, Law, Political Sciences, International and Diplomatic Relations, or Humanities and Philosophy.
How to participate: curricula can be sent by e-mail to placement(at) in response to a call published by the institute (on its website or IAInews newsletter). Selected candidates will be invited for an interview.

Job opportunities are made public through the institute's website and social media channels.
Self-nominations can be sent at any time to placement(at), along with a recent detailed curriculum (plus authorization for the processing of personal data) specifying the area of interest. Communications will not follow except in the case of selection for job interviews. Applications are archived for a maximum period of 1 year and selected as required.
