Library

The library was set up in 1965, the year the Institute was founded, and provides high quality service to Italian experts and researchers in the area of international issues. It contains more than 27,000 volumes, with approximately 300 new acquisitions per year. All publications are being catalogued in an on-line data base, which currently has more than 23,000 entries.

Access
The library is open to all. External users are invited to make prior arrangements for consultation on the premises.

Opening hours
From Monday to Thursday, 10.30 a.m. - 7.30 p.m.
Summer closure the whole month of August. Closed for occasional days around public holidays.

Services
The librarian will assist in searching and printing out bibliographies as required. Subject lists on several topics are updated each half year (see below "Bibliographies"). On request librarian also provides lists on other topics. Queries can be emailed.
Only interlibrary loans are permitted. A photocopier is available in the Institute.
