The Mediterranean region is experiencing a number of complex and overlapping crises. A New-Med conference, organised by IAI under the auspices of the Italian Chairmanship of the OSCE Mediterranean Contact Group, will address these challenges from the perspective of eight outstanding young scholars from the Middle East and North Africa.
A delegation of youth from the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council meets the Italian youth to engage in a dialogue about their future.
"Youth and Intercultural Dialogue: Italian and GCC Voices", is a IAI initiative, in cooperation with GCC, aimed at fostering dialogue between Europe and the Arab world, starting from young generations.
On 14 December 2016, a delegation of 60 youth from the Arab Gulf met with Italian counterparts in Rome to engage in a far-ranging intercultural dialogue. The event involved a number of high-level institutional speakers from Italy and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), followed by an exchange of success stories and best practices in the entrepreneurial, high-tech and information & communication sectors.
