The tragic events in Central Italy have highlighted the importance of crisis management and emergency coordination policies between local, national, police, military and volunteer services. An IAI-edited volume analyses Italy’s Civil Security System, examining the experience of the Italian Civil Protection agency and comparing its policies to that of other EU member states.
