Valentina Chabert
Valentina Chabert is Research Fellow in the “Defence, security and space” programme at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI). Her research focuses on space security and policy, with particular attention to private actors, the militarisation of space, hybrid conflicts and emerging technologies in defence. She holds a PhD in International Law from Sapienza University of Rome and teaches at the NATO Centre of Excellence Defence Against Terrorism. She is Teaching Assistant for Exogeography: Astropolitics and Space Economy and tutor for the Space Intelligence Lab at Luiss Guido Carli University. She also served as Teaching Assistant in Security and Strategic Studies at LUMSA University and in International Relations and Global Governance at UNINT University of Rome.
