The event, organised in cooperation with Microsoft, will bring together officials, experts from think tanks and academia, and leading international organisations working on artificial intelligence (AI).

The purpose of the event is to analyse the health and security nexus with a focus on the relevance of epidemic/pandemic risk for European and global security. Experts and policy-makers will discuss the role of the various actors involved in global health governance and the international cooperation initiatives needed to effectively address global health threats such as pandemics. A IAI paper related to these issues will be presented and discussed during the event.
