The meeting is part of a programme that IAI is conducting, as co-chair of Think7, one of the official engagement groups of the G7, on digital transformation and the regulation of artificial intelligence (AI). An IAI policy paper will be presented at the meeting.

Biography

Matteo Bursi is a researcher in the IAI “Multilateralism and global governance” programme. Previously, he obtained a PhD in “Labour, Development and Innovation” at the Marco Biagi Foundation, then he was Research Fellow at the Department of Economics of Modena; in this role, he carried out teaching activities in legal-economic subjects. He was visiting PhD at the University College of Dublin and Schuman Trainee at the Economic Governance and EMU Scrutiny Unit of the European Parliament. During his studies he worked as a bank employee. His research has mainly concerned the economic governance framework of the European Union, cryptocurrencies and Central Bank Digital Currencies.
