A strong and revitalised EU-US partnership remains indispensable for the task of promoting effective governance in an increasingly contested and volatile international environment. These and other results from the Transworld project were discussed with EU and US policymakers in two final conferences in Brussels and Washington. 

As negotiations on a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership continue to be marred by controversy and news leaks, IAI papers assess the geopolitical implications of an EU-US agreement and propose a new approach for the EU on how to improve the benefits of such a partnership.
