JOINT: Perspectives from the US, China, Russia and Iran

Challenges to EU foreign and security policy have been mounting in recent years. Many factors, such as the global engagement of the US, compel the EU and its member states to rethink their role along new patterns of multipolar interactions. Protests and Strikes in Belarus

Protests against Lukashenko continue in Belarus where strikes are asking for new elections and where 7.000 have been arrested. On April 30, 2021, from 1pm to 2pm, the IAI will organize the webinar "Revolution, reform or revamped authoritarianism: Belarus at a crossroad" with a dialogue between Nathalie Tocci, IAI's director, and Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, leader of the Belarusian opposition.
