Green Deal Watch, No. 17

This is the 17th issue of the Green Deal Watch, a quarterly report produced by the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) with the support of Edison. This publication aims at monitoring and analysing the initiatives launched by the European Commission and discussed by EU institutions and member states under the umbrella of the Green Deal and the wider climate and energy policies. Each issue is structured as an analytical assessment of the main developments of the Green Deal and all its related initiatives, such as the Clean Industrial Deal, in the three months that it covers. In this issue, IAI engaged in a conversation with Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Minister of the Environment and Energy Security. The report also includes a timeline of all major initiatives and legislative steps of climate and energy policies since 2024, with an archive timeline highlighting all previous initiatives since 2019.
