Biography

Alessio Sangiorgio is a researcher in the "Energy, climate and resources" programme at IAI. He has conducted research at Analytica for Intelligence and Security Studies, focusing on the Libyan energy market, and at the World Energy Council, working on projects related to Italian and German energy security. Previously, he completed an internship at the Italian embassy in Berlin.

He earned his bachelor's and master’s degrees in international and Diplomatic Sciences with honours from the University of Bologna. He specialized in energy and sustainability topics by attending an advanced training course at LUISS Business School
