From Aid to Partnerships: Supporting Health and Investing in Mozambique’s Future

On November 4, 2026, the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) and the Embassy of Italy in Mozambique will co-organize an event, with the support of FOCUS 2030, dedicated to analyzing the transformations and future prospects of international development cooperation, with a specific focus on global health.

At a historic moment marked by shrinking traditional funding and shifting geopolitical priorities, the meeting aims to explore new, sustainable partnership models centered on local ownership. The debate will bring together institutional representatives, international organizations, academia, and development practitioners to examine synergies between Italy and Mozambique within the framework of the Mattei Plan and in alignment with broader European and international initiatives.
