Biography

Pier Paolo Raimondi is a senior fellow in the “Energy, climate and resources” programme at IAI. His main research topics are energy policy and markets as well as energy geopolitics and geoeconomics in key geographical areas. He is the co-author of a Springer book on the energy sector and energy geopolitics in the MENA region published in 2023. Before joining IAI, he also collaborated with Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) from 2018 to late 2021. He holds a PhD from the “Institutions and Politics” Doctoral School of the Catholic University of Milan. Pier Paolo holds a Master in International Relations and a Bachelor degree in Political Science from the University of Milan.
