Since 2014 the institute has been producing a comprehensive report on Italy's presence and interests in the international arena, the state of the art and the strategic priorities of Italian foreign policy. The publication of volumes often gives opportunities for public debates.
The latest (2023) edition was published in January 2024.

Presentations of the 2023 edition of the IAI Italian Foreign Policy Report continue, this time in Trento. The Report, produced with the support of the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, is the result of the work of a group of researchers from the Institute coordinated by the IAI Foreign Policy Programme. The event, with a thematic focus on Italy's role in the wider Mediterranean, is an opportunity to discuss what Italy's foreign policy has been over the past year, but also to identify potential junctures to consider for 2024, involving students, faculty and citizens.

The presentation of the 2023 edition of the IAI Italian Foreign Policy Report returns to Rome. The Report, produced with the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, is the result of the work of a group of researchers from the Institute coordinated by the IAI Italian Foreign Policy Programme. IAI President Ferdinando Nelli Feroci will discuss the themes of the Report with students, doctoral students and faculty from the Department of Political Science at Sapienza University of Rome.

Bachelor’s and Master’s dissertation award IAI-Department of Culture, Politics and Society University of Turin – second edition

After last year's success, the second edition (2023/2024) of the IAI Prize for Bachelor's and Master's theses "Italy and International Relations: history, policies, perspectives" is back. The Prize is realized under the patronage of the Department of Culture, Politics and Society of the University of Turin and promoted with the support of the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.
