The project NOSY (New Operational Sensing sYstem) is focused on the development of a new monitoring system equipped with miniaturised sensors which could, in case of suspicious substances, increase the efficiency of collection of evidence by police forces and law enforcement agencies. Such a new monitoring system is based on needs and requirements expressed by police forces at European level.

The Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), in cooperation with the Institut Français Italia, organizes a France-Italy Strategic Forum with the aim to analyze and discuss a number of issues on which outlining synergies scenarios and possible bilateral cooperations between the two countries. The project includes the drafting of three background papers and the organization of three conferences with Italian and French experts in the field of energy, defence and projection to the south of the Mediterranean (from Maghreb to Sub-Saharan Africa).
