This program - launched in 2009 on the basis of a strategic partnership with the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) (see press release) - aimed at exploring the possibilities of cooperation between the United States and Europe in the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
In 2012-13, research focused on new dynamics that are evolving in the Mediterranean and the Middle East in light of a changing global power structure and the transformation of the region. In particular, the following subjects were addressed:
