Valeria Termini
She is full professor of Economics at the University of Roma Tre, Faculty of Economics. She served as Commissioner of the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and the Environment (ARERA) in 2011-2018. Member of the Board of Regulators of the European Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) - and Vice President of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER). Member of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Public Administration, CEPA (2010-2013). She was President of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (2010-13) and received the International Public Administration Award from the American Society for Public Administration (2011). She led the Italian delegation for Energy and Climate Change at G8, United Nations and OECD (2007-8) and has served in Government Commissions of experts in the field of regulation, energy and climate change, governance of public utilities and of financial markets. She is the author of several publications and scientific articles regarding energy policy, financial innovations and markets, European institutions, the governance of energy markets and regulation of public utilities. She earned her degrees in Economics at Bocconi University (Italy) and Cambridge University (UK).
