Biography

Jacopo Resti was a Junior Researcher at IAI. He works within the “Global Actors” programme and his project activities focus on Africa, with special regard to the Horn of Africa and the Sahel region. He worked in Sudan as a United Nations Fellow and research consultant at the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS). He trained at the European External Action Service (EEAS) and at Frontex. He holds a double master’s degree in International Relations at LUISS Guido Carli and at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) in Moscow and later earned a Master in Diplomacy at the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI). He published with ISPI and CeSPI think tanks and he is a member of the UNESCO Italian Youth Organisation (AIGU).
