Le nuove frontiere della propulsione aeronautica tra sfide tecnologiche, sostenibilità ambientale e sicurezza nazionale

The project aimed to stimulate reflection on the growing centrality of sustainability and decarbonisation in the aeronautics sector, and on how the evolution of both civil and military aviation increasingly depends on innovation in propulsion and energy management technologies, from new engine architectures and sustainable fuels to integrated “power and propulsion” systems for next-generation aircraft.
The project involved the drafting of an introductory note, developed also through dialogue with stakeholders and experts, and the organisation of a seminar at the Institute’s premises.
