UK-Italy Clean Growth Dialogues

The UK and Italy recognise that resilient clean energy supply chains are crucial for the energy transition and economic growth this century. The UK leads a Global Clean Power Alliance Mission on Supply Chains, aiming to work with Italy to diversify supply chains, reduce bottlenecks and accelerate the clean energy transition. Their collaboration, formalised through MOUs in 2023-2024 and King Charles III's 2025 State visit, combines strong governmental coordination with active private sector investment to ensure sustainable growth and strategic autonomy. The project (October 2025-March 2026) will organise two closed-door workshops and a public event to discuss cooperation opportunities between the two countries, and will produce a final paper.
