Anja Palm

Biography

Anja Palm is a Conflict Analyst at World Food Programme. Previously she was and advisor in the conflict prevention and early warning division at the European External Action Service (EEAS). She was a research fellow at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) between 2017-19, focusing on the EU’s and Italy’s foreign policy on migration and conflict. In the context of the H2020 project EU-Listco (Europe’s External Action and the Dual Challenges of Limited Statehood and Contested Orders) she was seconded to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the EEAS.
She graduated in Law from the University of Bologna and holds a Transnational Law LL.M. from King’s College London. She is fluent in English, Italian, German and French.
