13/05/2025, Istituto Affari Internazionali | 17:00

Closed-door invitation-only event

The aim of the event was twofold: to discuss the role played by vaccines in tackling epidemics and to analyse the evolution of funds supporting global health in light of emerging threats and the changing international scenario. The meeting placed special focus on Italy, particularly the health initiatives of the Mattei Plan. Speakers included officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Finance, representatives from the Mattei Plan mission structure, non-governmental organisations, leading international academics, and delegates from multilateral funds supporting global health. The discussion took place behind closed doors under the Chatham House Rule.
