Green Deal Watch No.17: Europe under pressure

02/10/2025, Edison Via del Quirinale, 26 – Rome | 17:00

The event, organised by the Institute of International Affairs (IAI) in collaboration with Edison, will explore the development of the Green Deal and the Clean Industrial Deal in an increasingly unstable international scenario. The debate will explore the new strategies put in place by the Commission – such as the new framework for state aid – and the progress made towards the 2030 climate targets. The event will focus in particular on the role of Italy.

The conversation will begin with the presentation of the seventeenth issue of Green Deal Watch, the quarterly publication edited by the IAI that monitors developments in European energy and climate policies.
