Green Deal Watch n°16: un piano per il rilancio dell' economia UE
In the first months of its mandate, the Commission adopted the Clean Industrial Deal, an action plan for affordable energy, and proposals for simplifying sustainability and investment regulations. The growing politicization of climate action in domestic contexts on one hand, and the uncertain global and transatlantic framework on the other, needs a decisive and cohesive action by the European Union, yet this is easier said than done.
The event, hosted by Hon. Beatrice Scuderi, is an opportunity to discuss the measures proposed by the Commission to reconcile the EU's decarbonization challenges with the promotion of European competitiveness and resilience.
IAI on this occasion will present the sixteenth issue of the Green Deal Watch, a quarterly publication edited by the the Energy, Climate and Resources team of the Institute that monitors developments in European climate policies. A conversation regarding the main dossiers on the co-legislators' table, with particular attention to the impacts on the Italian context, will follow.
