During the event, topics related to European integration and the challenges on the borders of yesterday and today, after the war to Ukraine, will be touched upon through a historical and contemporary overview of international relations. The event aims at promoting greater awareness and understanding of the relations between the eastern and western parts of the continent.

Particular attention will be paid not only to the dynamics of division, but also to those of exchange, contamination and sharing between peoples and generations.

IAI inaugurates its roadshow at Italian universities of the 2023 edition of its annual Italian Foreign Policy Report at the University of Siena. The Report, developed in the framework of the Strategic Partnership with the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, is the result of the work of a group of researchers at the Institute coordinated by the Italian Foreign Policy Programme.
