The historically friendly relationship between Italy and the United States is going through a phase of transformation, as the two sides have diverged on such issues as climate, trade and Middle Eastern security. IAI and the US embassy have organized a joint event to promote a frank and open dialogue at this critical moment of our partnership

Co-organized with the European Climate Foundation, the event will be an opportunity to discuss the current and future process of decarbonisation of the power sector in Europe and in Italy, including its implications at the policy, industrial and social level. With a special deep-dive on Italy, the newly published Energy Union Choices report “Cleaner, Smarter, Cheaper: Responding to opportunities in Europe’s changing energy system”, will provide stimulating inputs to the discussion.
