IAI at D-10 Strategy Forum. Seoul, 2018

IAI participated in the D-10 forum ("Democracies 10"), in Seoul with its president Ferdinando Nelli Feroci. The forum annually brings together government representatives and major think tanks from ten countries (Australia, Canada, South Korea, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Britain and the United States, plus the EU). Among the topics discussed were the crisis of multilateralism and security on the Korean Peninsula.

IAI had hosted their meeting in Rome three years ago. For 2019, the appointment is in Berlin.

In May 2017, China hosted a major conference on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), President Xi Jinping's landmark project that aims to massively increase China's land and maritime trade with Central Asia and Europe.
