Chinese media activity in Italy keeps arousing interest and curiosity. This webinar, set the framework of the project called "When Italy embraces the BRI", on the one hand, aims to present the research outcomes on the Italian and Chinese media collaboration. On the other hand, it seeks to let researchers and journalists linked to China share what they witness on a daily basis.

The Secretary of State for Global Spain at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Manuel Muñiz Villa, in Rome for institutional meetings, will present at the Institute the strategy recently adopted by the Spanish Government for the international projection of Spain. The meeting will also be an opportunity to examine the situation and prospects of relations between Spain and Italy and possible convergences on the most topical issues of the European agenda.

In 2006, the International Commission for the Balkans, chaired by the former Italian Prime Minister Giuliano Amato, highlighted the unprecedented commitment by the international community and the European Union towards the territories of Former Jugoslavia. The aim was to achieve peace and prosperity in the region, and enable the successor countries’ accession to the European Union. Thirty years have passed since the beginning of Jugoslavia’s dissolution on June 25, 1991 and more than twenty since the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999, that determined the end of the Jugoslav wars.
