Preventing the outbreak of conflicts and promoting a sustainable peace remains a key challenge for policy-makers and analysts. The EU and Member States should acquire adequate capabilities in order to handle the threats to security and stability in a timely and effective manner. The aim of this project was to collect, rationalise, enhance and disseminate elements of knowledge and education on conflict prevention and peace-building developed in the EU framework.
