Opinion survey on Italian foreign policy

2013 - current

Since 2013 IAI, in cooperation with Centro Interdipartimentale di ricerca sul cambiamento politico (CIRCaP) of the University of Siena, has realized periodic surveys aimed at identifying and assessing public opinion trends regarding Italian foreign policy. The surveys are conducted on a representative sample of individuals living in Italy. The questions asked relate to a broad spectrum of issues, including tasks and priorities of Italy's foreign and security policy, its role within the EU, in the neighbouring areas and on the wider international scene, its relations with the US and other major powers. The findings of the surveys are illustrated in a research report drafted by IAI and CIRCaP which is presented and discussed in a public conference.
