European Space Conference

The Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) took part as a partner in the 17th edition of the European Space Conference, focused on advancing Europe’s space ambitions. The conference was held in Brussels at the Square Convention Centre on 28-29 January 2025. Organised by Business Bridge Europe and Logos Public Affairs, the event brought together over 2,000 participants, including 200 high-level speakers and more than 50 institutional and industrial partners.
The conference provided an important opportunity for dialogue among policymakers, industry representatives, space agencies, academic experts and international think tanks, with the aim of discussing the future of European space policy in an evolving global context. Central to the discussions was the need for Europe to strengthen its capabilities in the space sector, foster a competitive and sustainable space ecosystem and consolidate its presence on the international stage.
Building on the success of previous editions, the 2025 conference offered an opportunity to assess ongoing European space initiatives and to engage in forward-looking debate on the future of the sector. It also served as a platform for the signing of cooperation agreements and the definition of common goals among key institutional and industrial stakeholders.
