The crisis in Ukraine has encouraged Europe to accelerate the launch of the reforms relating to energy safety and climate change. The Juncker Commission has founded the Energy Union, a new structure led by the Slovak Maros Sefcovic to strengthen European action, both internally and within the international arena.
