Sinan Ekim is a Junior Fellow in the “Eastern Europe and Eurasia” programme at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), where he assists with the “FEUTURE – The future of EU-Turkey relations: Mapping dynamics and testing scenario” and “Global Turkey in Europe (GTE)” projects. His research focuses on Turkey’s relationship with the European Union and the Middle East; internal developments within Turkey; and the Turkish national identity. He holds a Master’s degree in International History from the London School of Economics. He was previously a Senior Research Assistant at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC and is a former intern of IAI.
