Erik Burckhardt
Biography
Erik Burckhardt was associate fellow for the project “Europea”. Currently he is Policy Assistant to the European Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni. He has collaborated from 2011 to 2018 with the Italian Chamber of Deputies on European and international affairs. He is founder and vice-president of the think tank MondoDem.
After studying Law in Florence and at the Sorbonne University, Erik obtained a Master in Philosophy of Law and Political Law in Paris II University Panthéon-Assas and an LLM in European Law at the College of Europe in Bruges.
