Daniele Fattibene is Research Fellow at IAI, where he works on several projects within the “Security”, “European Union” and “Energy, Climate and Resources” programmes. He holds a B.A. degree from the “L’Orientale” University in Naples and a M.A. degree in East European studies from the University of Bologna (Forlì campus). Prior to joining IAI, he spent some research periods at the Saint Petersburg State University, the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) and the United Nations University-Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS) in Bruges. At IAI he has initially worked on projects related to the strengthening of the EU’s common security and defence policy. Currently he deals with research projects on sustainable development (Sustainable Development Goals), food security and the nexus between energy, climate and natural resources. He has published articles and analyses for Social Europe, Climate Diplomacy, Reset-Dialogues on Civilizations, Russian International Affairs Council, Formiche and East Journal.
