Biography
Umberto Marengo holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge (Public Policy and International Relations), where he specialized on oil markets and financial regulation of commodity market. He has worked as a researcher and practitioner on a wide range of EU policy areas including energy, trade, and investments. Umberto currently works as management consultant for The Boston Consulting Group; previously, he worked for the European Commission in Washington D.C., and he conducted academic research at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Oxford University, and Sciences Po Paris.
