L’Europa digitale e la geopolitica della finanza

The project (September 2026-June 2027) analyses the evolution of the European payments sector in light of the geopolitical and technological shifts that have occurred in recent years, as well as the prospects for the latest EU initiatives. Particular attention is devoted to the digital euro dossier, the development of payment infrastructures such as Appia and Pontes, and euro-denominated stablecoins. This is complemented by an examination of global trends, with a specific focus on the United States and China.
