An Italian-German Dialogue on Steel, Decarbonisation and Competitiveness

This event is part of a new IAI project, entitled “An Italian-German dialogue on European industrial decarbonisation and competitiveness”, funded by the German Foreign Office. During the event, an IAI in-depth study of the steel sector will be presented. It will cover the policy, technological and geopolitical dimensions of the sector and trace potential pathways forward for Germany and Italy. The event will promote an informed debate on energy and industrial transformation in the steel sector, both nationally and internationally, within the framework of the new European legislative cycle. It will focus on shared challenges faced by Germany and Italy and explore opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
IAI acknowledges the continuous collaboration with Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) during the course of this project.
