Biography

Filippo Simonelli is a PhD student at the University of Siena and Research Fellow in IAI’s "Italian foreign policy" programme. His main interests include EU’s public diplomacy, the evolution of public opinion sentiments towards Italian foreign and defence policy and the Mattei Plan as an instrument for the development of an italian public diplomacy strategy towards Africa.
