Libya and the Migration Crisis in the Med

With Europe preparing to unveil a new naval mission to stem the tide of illegal migration across the Mediterranean, recent IAI papers published in the framework of the New-Med Research Network analyse EU migration policy with a special focus on Libya and current debates in Europe on how best to approach the phenomenon. A second paper assesses current and past trends in youth migration from North Africa into Europe.
