Valerio Briani was associate fellow in the Security and Defence area. He has been working with institutions such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Centro Studi sul Federalismo and the Centro Militare di Studi Strategici. He mainly works on aerospace and defence industry and market, as well as on European and Italian defence and security policy. In 2007-2008 he has been working in the Transatlantic Relations Area, where he worked on issues such as US-EU relations, Nato, and the Balkans.
