Sinan Ekim

Biography

Sinan Ekim was an associate fellow at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), where he mainly collaborated on projects concerning Turkey. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, obtained with a thesis on the evolution of Turkey's national identity under the first post-Kemalist government led by then Prime Minister Adnan Menderes between 1950 and 1960. He was previously a Senior Research Assistant at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC and was a former junior researcher at IAI.
