Michele Comelli (MA, PhD) was associate fellow at the IAI. He has published books, peer reviewed articles and papers on EU integration, EU foreign and security policy and EU neighbourhood policy. He has been a member of the steering committee of the Lisboan project and of EU4Seas, of which he was also leader of the "Politics and security" WP. He was in charge of cooperation with the Italian Parliament at the IAI - and relatedly is the editor of the Observatory on transatlantic relationship (quarterly, in Italian) - and with the Epin network. He worked for two research institutes - the Berlin-based IEP and the Stockholm-based SIIA - within the framework of the European Foreign and Security Policy Studies programme (EFSPS).
