Max Münchmeyer

Biography

Max Münchmeyer was a researcher in the energy, climate and resources programme of the IAI. He is a doctoral researcher at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, where his work focuses on EU energy governance and energy solidarity. Max is a teaching assistant at the Florence School of Regulation and Senior Editor of the European Journal of Legal Studies (EJLS), having served as the publication’s Editor-in-Chief in 2021-22. He previously worked as energy and climate researcher at the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA) in Dublin, Ireland. He holds law degrees from Trinity College Dublin (LL.B.), the London School of Economics (LL.M.), and the EUI (LL.M.).
