Irene Paviotti

Biography

Irene Paviotti was a junior researcher within IAI’s Multilateralism and global governance programme. She is interested in international development issues in their economic and geopolitical implications and is particularly passionate about Africa-China-Europe relations. Her previous professional experience in this field encompasses volunteering on an EU-funded project in Ghana, a traineeship at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships, and a traineeship with a trade association in Brussels. After her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Maastricht University, she obtained a Master’s in International Development from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
