Rome-Baghdad-Riyadh-Tehran: Developing a Platform for City Diplomacy

Between 12 and 14 January 2026, the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), in partnership with the Bourse & Bazaar Foundation (B&BF), organised in Rome the initiative “Rome-Baghdad-Riyadh-Tehran: Developing a Platform for City Diplomacy”. Held under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Municipality of Rome, the event brought together urban planners and architects from Baghdad, Riyadh and Tehran with the aim of building a platform for technical dialogue and mutual exchange between the cities and develop innovative responses to shared urban challenges.
