Navigating Geoeconomic Turbulences - Financial and Economic cleavages of a seething Global Order

The event aims at analysing various geoeconomic and financial dynamics that have emerged in recent years – especially, since the re-election of Donald Trump. Particular attention will be given to payment infrastructures, cryptocurrencies, trade agreements, tech regulation and sanctions. Inputs for the discussion will be offered by the work carried out by the IAI-Intesa Sanpaolo Taskforce 2026, a research group composed by economists and political scientists who work in academia, financial institutions and think tanks.
