L'Italia nell'Artico: presentazione della nuova Strategia nazionale artica
The Arctic is increasingly at the centre of the international agenda, caught between the environmental and geopolitical challenges posed by the effects of global warming, new economic opportunities and military tensions. In this context, Italy recently presented its new national Arctic strategy: 'Italy Arctic Policy. Italy and the Arctic: The Values of Cooperation in a Rapidly Changing Region'. Starting from the presentation of the national strategy, we will examine how Italy can strengthen its role as a partner, promoting sustainable solutions in the context of the “High North”, where security, sustainability and multilateral governance intersect.
