Capitali privati in tecnologie duali: il segno di una grande trasformazione

The Centro Studi Militari Aerospaziali (CESMA) Giulio Douhet and the IAI organized the conference "Private Investment in Dual-Use Technologies: The Signal of a Great Transformation" on June 26, 2025, at the Visconti Auditorium of Palazzo Aeronautica in Rome.

The public event was structured into three sessions, preceded by a presentation of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) as a case study for the development of dual-use technologies. The first panel gathered the perspectives of US, NATO, and EU institutions aimed at encouraging private investments in aerospace and defence sectors. The second session featured major industrial players, small and medium-sized enterprises, and startups present their views and experiences. Finally, representatives of the financial and credit sectors, including investment funds, made the line-up of the third and final session. The half-day debate took place before an audience of over 150 participants.
